The MK93 is the standard heavy machine gun and automatic grenade launcher mount used by the US military and NATO. It is a dual-use mount for the M2HB/M3 .50 caliber machine gun and the MK19 Mod 3 40 mm grenade launcher, and fits the socket on a vehicle turret A-frame through a bearing sleeve.

    Heavy Weapon Mounting

    MSG describes the MK93 as the standard heavy machine gun or automatic grenade launcher mount used throughout the US Military and NATO. It is dual-use, supporting both the M2HB/M3 .50 cal machine gun and the MK19 MOD3 40mm automatic grenade launcher.

    Turret Integration

    The mount is used with the Universal Pintle Adapter, a Traverse and Elevation mechanism and a bearing sleeve that attaches to the socket on the vehicle turret A-frame.

    Ammunition Feed

    The MK93 carries either a 100/200 round .50 cal ammo can holder or a 40mm ammo can holder alongside the weapon.
